What are Dynamic Web Templates?
Dynamic Web Templates (DWTs) are new type of a design template in FrontPage 2003 that enables Webmasters to quickly change the look of the web site (on a page-by-page basis) while providing content editors with a safe way to add
content to the page in predefined, editable regions.
Benefits of Using Dynamic Web Templates:
-
Facilitate changes to the look of the web site without bringing up every page in the web for editing.
-
Each page can have a different DWT attached to it, providing an easy way to customize the look of different sections of the web.
-
Webmaster can manage non-editable areas or common areas that might contain site code and graphics that should not be changed by content editors. Content editors can safely edit page content in editable regions without
messing up protected areas of the page.
-
Syntax compatible with DreamWeaver Templates.
